How’s the tandem of Richard Yap and Heart Evangelista?
Kapuso actor Richard Yap shared how it is working with Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaboration Heart Evangelista in the upcoming series I Left My Heart In Sorsogon.
The lock-in taping for the said upcoming series of GMA has already started. This will also feature Bubble Gang Star Paolo Contis as the second leading man of Heart’s character.
Based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Richard shared that he and Heart did not have the chance to meet each other before their taping. However, when they started the filming for the series, it was easy for them to develop a good rapport.
“I think the spark is there, the chemistry is there. Hindi mo maitatago ‘yun if wala talaga. So, I think it came naturally for us kasi parang I felt comfortable with her, and hindi rin siya naiilang,” Richard Yap said.
He also mentioned the comedic expertise of Paolo. “Nakakatawa kasi si Paolo, kilala niyo naman siya, so it was very easy to get along with him,” he said. Richard also admitted that he is a fan of the longest-running gag show of the Kapuso network and so he knows the funny side of his male co-star.
With this, the former Kapamilya actor said that it was fun doing the taping. Also included in the series are Michelle Dee, Kyline Alcantara, Mavy Legaspi, Rey PJ Abellana, and Shamaine Buencamino. This will be the first major TV project of Richard Yap in the Kapuso network after he transferred from ABS-CBN early this year.
Meanwhile, this will be the teleserye comeback of Heart Evangelista since 2018. The last one that she did was titled My Korean Jagiya with Alexander Lee and was directed by Mark A. Reyes. Her vlogging and other creative collaborations became her priorities these past years.
