Vlogger Super Estong Passes Away After Reported Electrocution
Vlogger Simon Kapindit Jr., popularly known as Super Estong, passed away after he was reportedly electrocuted while singing during a videoke session at a resort in Culasi, Antique. The 23-year-old content creator was rushed to the hospital after the incident but died the following day.
Super Estong was a well-known vlogger from Antique and a member of Team Ragumo. He gained popularity for his funny and entertaining videos, earning the support of many followers on social media. His sudden passing shocked his fans, friends, and loved ones.
Police are still investigating the incident to determine the exact cause of the electrocution and whether there was any negligence on the part of the resort or the owner of the videoke machine. The Bureau of Fire Protection also requested the assistance of an electrician to inspect the electrical system connected to the equipment as part of the investigation. Authorities are still waiting for a statement from the resort owner.

According to his girlfriend, the family plans to file a complaint as they seek answers and accountability. She shared that their last conversation was brief, with Super Estong simply telling her that he was going to sing. She also clarified that he was not wet at the time of the incident, disputing claims that his body was soaked when the electrocution occurred.

Following the incident, the Bureau of Fire Protection reminded the public to practice proper electrical safety. People are advised to avoid touching electrical equipment with wet hands or while their bodies are wet and to wear proper footwear when using electrical devices to reduce the risk of electric shock.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue gathering evidence to determine what led to the tragedy and whether anyone will be held responsible.
