Megan Young and Mikael Daez are indeed proud parents to their child
Kapuso celebrity couple Megan Young and Mikael Daez couldn’t help but get emotional when their baby boy, Leon, achieved one of the most important milestones of his growth, his first step.
Megan and Mikael have been happily married since January 2020. The actor officially confirmed their relationship during a GMA Network press conference in February 2017. This was after keeping their dating status an “open secret” from the public for six years
They welcomed their child in May 2025, years after not minding the pressure from society’s standard for couples to have children.
As first-time parents, Megan and Mikael are generous in sharing their journey. Just recently, they celebrated Leon’s milestone. The little boy is walking on his own.
On Instagram, Mikael shared a cute video showing Leon taking his first steps while his parents cheered him on from the sidelines.
Megan’s emotions were clearly evident as she witnessed their child take his first steps. She said that she was overwhelmed seeing this milestone in their son’s life. The actress also said that she is proud of Leon. Megan said that she was shedding tears of joy.
“So, Leon has finally started to walk. He made his first five to 10 steps just tonight. And si Boneezy ay huhuhu,” Mikael said.
Megan Young also couldn’t hide her joy and pride in their baby. In the caption of his post, Mikael admitted that this was the milestone he had long been looking forward to.
“Although I have been warned by almost everyone that it gets suuuper tiring taking care of a baby when they finally start walking,” the actor added.
However, he is fully game to face this new adventure as a father. “I am ready for the exhaustion! Lezzgo Leon,” he said.
