PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Saturday (July 24)

PAGASA reported that Typhoon Fabian is already outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility but habagat would continue to bring rains.

On Saturday (July 24, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. Fabian exited PAR but habagat would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

Typhoon Fabian leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility and was last spotted 630 kilometers north northeast of Itbayat, Batanes. It has maximum sustained winds of 140 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 170 kph moving 15 kph at a northward direction.

The enhanced southwest monsoon would bring monsoon rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Abra, Benguet, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, and Northern Palawan including Calamian Islands.

The habagat would bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Marinduque, Romblon and Northern Samar as well as Western Visayas and the rest of Luzon.

It would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the remaining parts of the country.

The coastal water condition over Luzon, Visayas, and the eastern seaboard of Mindanao would be moderate to rough. Slight to moderate surrounding sea condition is expected over the rest of Mindanao.
