PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Wednesday (July 21)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that Typhoon Fabian has slightly weakened and habagat would bring rains over some parts of the country.

On Wednesday (July 21, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update. Typhoon Fabian would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

Fabian has been last spotted at 740 kilometers east northeast of Itbayat, Batanes. It has maximum sustained winds of 130 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 160 kph moving 10 kph at a west southwestward direction. The tropical cyclone slightly weakens.

The southwest monsoon would bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Northern Samar.

Western Visayas and the rest of Palawan including Kalayaan Islands would experience the same weather condition. Monsoon rains are also expected over Occidental Mindoro and Northern Palawan including Calamian Islands.

Monsoon rains are also expected Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro, and Northern Palawan including Calamian Islands.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Luzon and Visayas would be moderate to rough. Mindanao would have slight to moderate surrounding sea condition.
