PAGASA Says Habagat to Bring Scattered Rains Over Parts of PH

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the southwest monsoon would bring scattered rains over some parts of the country.

On Saturday (June 26, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. The southwest monsoon would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA said that the southwest monsoon would bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the provinces of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

Habagat would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers over mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Abra, Benguet, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao and Apayao.

The localized thunderstorms would also bring similar weather conditions over entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands.

The weather agency also warned the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods and landslides.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over Northern Luzon, Aurora province, Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands as well as the remaining parts of the country would be slight to moderate.
