Singer-songwriter Rico Blanco became a trending topic on Twitter on Tuesday after singer-actress Maris Racal confirmed their relationship and here are the reactions of netizens.
The video greeting that Maris posted on her Instagram account for Rico’s 48th birthday fueled relationship speculations. In the video, they sang the song Brighter Than Sunshine with the dominant lyrics saying, “I’m yours and suddenly you’re mine.”
Rico sounded unhesitant when he wrote his “love you” reply. With this, the two celebrities brought “kilig” on social media, and fans of Maris shared her past tweets fangirling over the former Rivermaya member.
Several celebrities appeared to have hinted also about the rumored relationship between Rico and Maris, like how actress Ruffa Gutierrez teased them in her comments.
In a recent virtual media conference, Maris Racal was directly asked about the real score between her and Rico Blanco. She finally admitted that they are happy together.
