PAGASA Says Hot Weather Prevails in Luzon, Cloudy Condition Expected in VisMin

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Wednesday (May 26)

The state weather bureau PAGASA said that hot and humid weather condition are expected to prevail in Luzon while Visayas and Mindanao would have cloudy condition.

On Wednesday (May 26, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. The Low Pressure Area and ITCZ would affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that a Low Pressure Area has been spotted at 825 kilometers east of Mindanao embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). The easterlies would affect the rest of the Philippines.

The Intertropical Convergence Zone would bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the entire Visayas. The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers Palawan including Kalayaan Group of Islands and Occidental Mindoro.

The easterlies would also bring the same weather condition over Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country.

The weather agency also advised the public to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over Palawan, the rest of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
