PAGASA Says Easterlies to Bring Cloudy to Rainy Conditions Over Parts of PH

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Tuesday (May 25)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the easterlies would bring cloudy to rainy conditions over some parts of the country.

On Tuesday (May 25, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. The easterlies would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

The easterlies would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Abra, Benguet Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan.

The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over the entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Group of Islands, and Occidental Mindoro.

The easterlies would also bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Caraga and Davao Region. Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country would experience similar weather condition.

PAGASA also warned the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over Northern Luzon, Aurora Province, and rest of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao would be slight to moderate, according to the weather agency.
