Here is the Latest Weather Update from PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA released the latest weather update and reported that ITCZ would bring rains over some parts of the country.

On Saturday (May 22, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration reported that the Intertropical Convergence Zone and localized thunderstorms would bring cloudy to rainy conditions over Southern Mindanao.

The Intertropical Convergence Zone would bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.

The ITCZ would also bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Group of Islands and Occidental Mindoro.

It would also bring the same weather condition over Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN and Bangsamoro. The localized thunderstorms would also partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers over the remaining parts of Mindanao.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, Visayas and Occidental Mindoro as well as the rest of the country would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.

PAGASA also warned the public of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
