#Ateneo Trends on Twitter Due to This Fresh Graduate Demanding for Higher Salary
#Ateneo is trending on Twitter after one of their fresh graduates allegedly declined a 37k starting salary.
A Twitter user named Kume’s post is currently making rounds online after making a job offer to an Ateneo fresh graduate. The lady graduate reportedly declined a P37, 000 starting salary as an entry level Marketing Associate.
The woman explained that she expects at least P60, 000 starting salary because of her educational background, which allegedly left him speechless. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
Kume made another post and explained that he does not intend to bash Ateneo graduates but to remind them that it was a thought-provoking situation. He said that the Ateneo graduate is like the other candidates who finished a 4-year course.
The Twitter user said that he is looking forward to work with the 21-year-old woman who has superior communication skills and solid foundation but the latter declined the offer and demands higher salary.
“I just made a job offer to an Ateneo fresh grad, and I was shocked that she declined a 37k starting salary. The role is for an entry level Marketing Associate. I asked for her reason and she said that she expects at least 60k because of her educational background. I’M SPEECHLESS,” Kume wrote on its Tweet.
