PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Monday (April 26)
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the Philippines would have a generally fair weather condition today.
On Monday (April 26, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The country would have a fair weather condition but rains are expected during afternoon.
PAGASA said that the Northeasterly Surface Windflow would bring partly cloudy to cloudy weather condition with isolated rainshowers over the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Aurora, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Abra, and Benguet.
The localized thunderstorms would also bring similar weather conditions over the entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro. The localized thunderstorms may occur in the afternoon or evening.
Meanwhile, the remaining parts of the country will continue to have fair weather condition with possibility of isolated thunderstorms.
“Para sa magiging lagay ng panahon sa araw na ito, patuloy pa ring mararananasan ang maaaliwalas na panahon na may posibilidad pa rin ng isolated thunderstorms pagdating ng hapon at gabi,” weather specialist Meno Mendoza said.
No weather disturbance is expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) over the next few days, according to Mendoza.
Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the Northern Luzon and Aurora province would be moderate to rough. Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro would have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.
