PAGASA Says Typhoon Bising Moves Away From Luzon Landmass

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Friday (April 23)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that typhoon Bising has accelerated as moves away from Luzon landmass.

On Friday (April 23, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The weather bureau said that Typhoon Bising is currently moving away from the landmass of Luzon.

PAGASA reported that Typhoon Bising has maximum sustained winds of 140 km per hour and gustiness of up to 170 kph moving 20 kph at a northeastward direction. It has been last located 575 kilometers east northeast of Basco, Batanes.

Bising slighty weakened it is still expected to bring an inclement weather condition over some parts of the country. It would bring cloudy skies and scattered rainshowers may be expected in Cagayan, Batanes, and the Babuyan Islands while the rest of Luzon.

The Visayas and Mindanao regions are expected to experience a fair weather condition. However, the localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms over entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro would be slight to moderate. The rest of Luzon would have a moderate to rough surrounding sea conditions.
