PAGASA: Localized Thunderstorms to Bring Cloudy & Rainy Conditions in PH

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Saturday (April 24)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the localized thunderstorms would bring cloudy and rainy conditions over some parts of the country.

On Saturday (April 24, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. The localized thunderstorms would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the Severe Tropical Storm Bising has slightly weakened and has maximum sustained winds of 100 kilometers per hour near and gustiness of up to 125 kph moving 10 kph at a northeastward direction. Bising was last spotted at 945 kilometers east northeast of extreme northern Luzon.

Rainy Conditions

The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Aurora, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Abra, and Benguet.

The entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro will also experience cloudy and rainy conditions.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the northern and eastern section of Luzon would be moderate to rough. The surroundings sea conditions over the remaining parts of the country would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
