PAGASA Releases Recent Update About Severe Tropical Storm Bising

The weather agency PAGASA reported that the severe Tropical Storm Bising weakened as it moves away from PAR.

On Saturday morning (April 24, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest updates about severe Tropical Storm Bising, which continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that Bising has maximum sustained winds of 95 kilometers per hour and gustiness of 115 kph. The weather disturbance is currently moving 15 kph at an east southeastward direction.

Bising has been last spotted at 1,005 kilometers east northeast of extreme Northern Luzon and would bring strong breeze over some parts of the country. It also destroyed millions worth of agricultural products and left four residents dead.

The state weather bureau also warned the mariners and small sea craft that sea venture remains risky. 1.5 up to 3.5 meters waves are expected over the northern and eastern seaboards of Northern Luzon in the next 24 hours.

PAGASA said that Bising is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Monday (April 26, 2021).
