Manny Pacquiao visited Willie Revillame’s game show
The recent guesting of Senator Manny Pacquiao on Wowowin, the Kapuso game show of Willie Revillame prompted speculation that this is a sort of preparation for the 2022 elections.
Pacquiao’s name is one of the top ten politicians who are included in the presidential preference survey. Late last year, it was speculated that he will run for President in the next elections and that his running mate would be Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.
However, in an interview, the boxer-turned-politician said that politics is not his priority as of now.
On the other hand, as he guested on Wowowin just recently, the speculation about his future political plan hyped up. Bandera entertainment columnist Reggee Bonoan said that Manny Pacquiao has become more visible now and this raised a thought that he might run for a higher position.
“Kaya namin ito nasabi ay dahil visible na siya sa paglilibot sa bansa para mamahagi ng tulong at ang latest nga ay ang pagpunta niya sa programang “Wowowin” ni Willie Revillame para makipagkuwentuhan sa TV host,” the columnist said.
During Pacquiao’s guesting on the Kapuso game show, Kuya Wil revealed that he always had an invitation from the Senator if he has a boxing stint abroad.
The host also shared the charitable endeavors of the Pinoy boxing champ who said that it is because the less fortunate people are near to his heart as he also came from that kind of life status.
Willie Revillame let Manny Pacquiao be the host during that episode. The winner who received a call from the show got an extra P20,00 from the Senator aside from the P30,000 that is the usual cash prize.
