Pulse Asia Research Inc., a public polling body in the Philippines, recently released the result of the Presidential Preference Survey that covered November 23 to December 2.

This survey aimed to determine the preference of many Filipinos when it comes to the politician who they like to be the President after the term of President Rodrigo Duterte.

The recent result from Pulse Asia showed that Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte topped the polling with 26 percent, based on the Twitter post of News 5.

It is quite normal for many, especially the supporters of the President to assume that someone close to him will be his successor. It has been rumored that Mayor Sara will run for President and many people have shown support for this.

The Presidential daughter was followed by former Senator Bongbong Marcos with 14 percent. Until now, the politician from a powerful political clan is still fighting for his “Vice President” position against VP Leni Robredo who got 8 percent in the survey and this gave her the number 6 spot.
