Oil Firms Set to Impose Price Changes on Petroleum Products This Week
Several oil firms are set to implement price adjustments on petroleum products during the first week of February.
On the first week of February, the Filipino motorcycle riders and vehicles drivers would face another challenge due to heftier pump prices of gasoline. Meanwhile, kerosene prices would roll back for the second consecutive week.
Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Seaoil Philippines Inc. would set an increase of P0.25 per liter of gasoline, P0.25 per liter of kerosene while the prices of diesel would remain the same.
Petro Gazz would implement the same price adjustments with gasoline and diesel products except for kerosene.
The price adjustments would start at 6:00 am on February 2, 2021 (Tuesday). Cleanfuel would not implement any price changes with petroleum products while other companies have yet to make announcements further this week.
The gasoline price hike would surely contribute to the burdens of Filipino motorists who were currently struggling due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, which also affects the global economy.
