What pushed John Lloyd Cruz to leave the limelight for a while?
JOHN LLOYD CRUZ – A-list Kapamilya actor John Lloyd Cruz opens up about his absence and great move to leave career temporarily in recent interview.
After over a three-year hiatus and his indefinite leave of absence, actor John Lloyd Cruz who is missed by a lot of people appeared in the digital talk show of Boy Abunda and it is where he opened up about his decision to leave the limelight and live a very simple life.
Conversing with the “King Of Talk”, he shared that his rest from show business is just temporary. It was his decision and choice to stop for a while but this move does not necessarily meant for him to stop permanently. He will continue making his craft as he still receives offers.
Mainly, his reason is to not have any regrets and “what ifs” in later days of his life. He doesn’t want lingering questions inside him in the end as to why he never did what he wanted. Thus, it pushed him to do it. He realized that life is short and he doesn’t have all the luxury if he would only focus on one thing.
He added that he would only make a fool out of himself if he will deny him the chance and the opportunity to do what he always longed to do. Lloydie found it hard to explain this but what he just wanted is not to have regrets in the end which is why he did it. People noticed how deep is his thinking now in the video with the way he answered.
Now, when asked about his current state, he replied that he couldn’t get any happier with having his two-year-old son now in his life. He shared that he is happy and even described his kid as his “little savior”.
Meanwhile, there are “better days ahead” says Brightlight Productions owner and former congressman Albee Benitez as he had a talk with Lloydie. His post hinted the actor’s possible return to show business.
The award-winning actor was in a relationship with Ellen Adarna. They have a son Elias Modesto, who is now 2 years old, but a couple of years later, they called it quits and now in a co-parenting set-up with their child.
