Albee Benitez was asked about the supposed TV5 show of Kris Aquino
Brightlight Production owner Albee Benitez gave his reaction to the canceled show of actress-host Kris Aquino on TV5.
Kris was supposed to do a talk show in the Kapatid network titled Love Life with Kris. However, she said that the producer of the show chose someone else over her.
It was alleged that the production company chose Korina Sanchez as a replacement. It is known to many that Kris and Korina had a past conflict.
In line with this, the former congressman who is now the major blocktimer on TV5 was asked to react. Based on the article by entertainment columnist Salve Asis in Pilipino Star Ngayon, it was obvious that Albee Benitez smiled when this question was asked.
For the former lawmaker, what happened was already a thing of the past. “Let’s keep it under wraps na kasi mukhang ano na ‘yun, eh, past na ‘yun. Let bygones be bygones,” he said.
Benitez also said that the project just did not work out. Based on the article, the supposed talk show of Kris, which is supposed to serve as her TV comeback, was pitched to the production company of the former congressman when the TV host encountered a problem with her previous producer.
Meanwhile, Albee Benitez said that they are targeting that the shows produced by Brightlight Productions will rate next year.
Although, he already set a time frame but he said that it is much better that they will have the positive result at an earlier time.
