Update on France COVID-19 Deaths & Total Cases Amid Pandemic

FRANCE COVID-19 DEATHS – The coronavirus death toll in France increased by over 800 in just a day.

The COVID-19 pandemic is the biggest global concern now. More than 200 countries and territories have recorded cases of the said disease.

In December 2019, China recorded the first cases of a new coronavirus. An outbreak of the said disease took place in the city of Wuhan in Hubei province.

Beginning January 2020, several other countries outside Chine recorded their first cases of COVID-19. The World Health Organization (WHO) declared it as pandemic and was even alarmed.

Countries went on lockdown and community quarantine measures were implemented to curb the spread of the disease. According to WHO, it is going to be a long-term battle against it.

France is one of the countries that recorded cases of the disease. It has the 5th highest cases across the globe and the France COVID-19 deaths is the 7th globally.

Based a report on ABS-CBN News, the France COVID-19 deaths recently increased by over 800 in just a day. The 854 new records brought the death toll to 38,289.

Currently, the total cases of the disease recorded in the country is at 1,502,763. Based on the report, the national government of France decided to place the entire nation under a one-month lockdown again following the resurgence.

Furthermore, authorities may reimpose a curfew in Paris as a lot of people seem to ignore the lockdown calls. The fight against the pandemic continues and WHO previously told nations not to loosen their guards early.
