Pia Magalona Speaks on Son Elmo’s Guesting in GMA-7 Online Show
PIA MAGALONA – The mother of Elmo Magalona clarified the home network of the young actor following his guesting in an online show of GMA-7.
One of the former Kapuso stars who transferred to ABS-CBN network is young actor Elmo Magalona. He is the son of the late actor-rapper Francis Magalona and his wife, Pia.
Just like his father, Elmo is into acting and rapping. When he was still a Kapuso, he was paired with actress Janine Gutierrez who later on became his girlfriend. However, they broke up.
In November 2015, Elmo Magalona transferred to ABS-CBN network. As a Kapamilya, he was paired with young actress Janella Salvador.
Elmo and Janella are collectively called “ElNella” by their fans and supporters. They did a lot of projects that gathered the crowd and many wished their tandem would pave the way for a romantic relationship in real-life.
It did happen. Elmo and Janella became real-life lovers but their relationship ended. Unfortunately, their breakup was surrounded by a lot of issues.
Elmo Magalona is focusing in his music career now following his acting project as one of the cast members of the Kapamilya TV series A Soldier’s Heart. Today, he is set to appear as the guest performer of a GMA-7 online show, the GMA Playlist.
Undeniably, Elmo Magalona’s appearance in the GMA-7 online show sparked speculations of possibly returning to the Kapuso network. To this, Pia Magalona made a clarification.
Based on a report on Pep, Pia Magalona who is the talent manager of her son, Elmo, clarified that the young actor remains a talent of ABS-CBN network. According to her, his appearance as a guest performer of the GMA-7 online show is for the promotion of his single “Hold”.
Reportedly, Elmo is allowed to appear as a guest in different shows booked by the Universal Records. He and his brother, Arkin, also appeared in TV5’s Chika Besh last September 30.
