Elmo Magalona Appears as Guest Performer of GMA-7 Online Show “GMA Playlist”
ELMO MAGALONA – The young actor-singer appeared in a GMA-7 online show, GMA Playlist.
Several celebrity children followed the footsteps of their parents in the showbiz industry. One of them is young actor-singer Elmo Magalona.
The young actor is the son of the late master rapper Francis Magalona and his wife, Pia Magalona. His older sister, Maxene Magalona, also joined showbiz but she was quite inactive in her career since she settled down.
Elmo was previously with GMA-7 until he transferred to ABS-CBN Network in November 2015. He’s a talent of Star Magic, the talent arm of the Kapamilya network.
The young actor is half of the popular tandem “ElNella” – his tandem with his actress ex-girlfriend, Janella Salvador. They did a lot of successful projects together and both of them are into acting and singing.
However, things did not ended well with Elmo and Janella. They broke up and a lot of issues surrounded their split. After then, the actor-singer was quite inactive in his showbiz career for a while.

Meanwhile, Elmo Magalona has not left both acting and singing. Her latest project under the Kapamilya network was the TV series A Soldier’s Heart. Today, he is set to appear as a guest performer in the GMA-7 online show GMA Playlist.
It was also just last September 30 when Elmo and his younger brother, Arkin, appeared in an episode of TV5’s Chika Besh.
