Jobless Man Arrested After Stealing Pork Products at Convenience Store
A jobless man has been arrested by the authorities after he was caught stealing pork products at a mini grocery in Taguig City.
A 28-year-old man named Jeffrey Cayanan has been arrested by the Southern Police District for allegedly stealing pork inside of Alfamart store in Barangay Ligid Tipas last weekend. The suspect is resident of Purok 4, Barangay Tuktukan.
The Southern Police District said that Cayanan reportedly pretended to be a customer inside the convenience store and took one sealed plastic bag of pork kasim and one pack of SMB skewered barbecue.
The pork kasim is worth P135 while the barbeque is also worth P135. The man took the pork items without paying and one of the store employees notice Cayanan’s actions through the CCTV.

The complainant named Milven Navia immediately reported the incident to the security force of the barangay, which leads to the immediate arrest of the culprit. The police recovered the items he allegedly stole from the store worth P270.
The police authorities said that the suspect has been brought to Sub Station 5 in Tipas before he was transferred to the headquarters of Taguig City Police. The cops also found out that Cayanan is currently jobless.
