The reason behind the “fake” post of Joey de Leon
Veteran comedian-host Joey de Leon shared this “fake” post on Instagram because of this particular reason.
Joey has been in the entertainment industry for several decades now and he has been part of the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga since it started until now that it’s celebrating its 41st anniversary.
His social media accounts are always filled with his artworks, memories with the EB Dabarkads or simply his literary masterpieces. Aside from being a comedian and host, the Henyo Master is also a writer and he is quite talented when it comes to pun.
His play on words always amazes his fans and social media followers and even though he is calling the attention of a fake personality, Joey de Leon artistry is still obvious. In his recent IG post, he shared a photo of what seemed to be a handwritten of the word “FAKE!”.
This serves as a warning to netizens that there is someone using his name in the online community without his permission. “WARNING: MAY KUMAKALAT SA ILANG PAGES AT FORMAT (hindi dito)TUNGKOL SA AKIN. GINAMIT AKO in other words. ITO LANG PO ANG TANGING LUGAR KO at sa Twitter. WALA NA. Tigilan nyo ko!” the comedian said.
Following this, Joey shared a photo of a television showing the logo of Eat Bulaga. His caption featured a play on words as he called those who are using his name of their own gain.
He stressed that his social media accounts are just Instagram and Twitter. “WARNING: WALA AKONG FAKEBO este, Facebook! NO FB, only EB. Yung mga nagpapakalat ng FAKE ay Rated PG—-Pekeng Gamitero, Paid Germs, Pos-ka sa Gimik, bahala na kayong maglagay ng sarili nyong meaning! Stay fake este, safe!” he said.
