Update on New COVID-19 Cases in Negros Occidental Now

NEW COVID-19 CASES – Ten (10) new cases of coronavirus were recently recorded in the province of Negros Occidental.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected almost everything in over 200 countries and territories with confirmed cases across the globe. It placed a lot of things on pause.

The entire Philippines is under a community quarantine now due to the said pandemic. There are limitations on the movements of the people and there are protocols observed.

Everyone must wear a face mask when going outdoors. Social distancing must also be observed including public commute.

Cebu City is currently under an Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) while several other areas including Metro Manila are under a General Community Quarantine (GCQ). The low risk areas are under a Modified GCQ now.

New COVID-19 Cases Negros Occidental

Negros Occidental is one of the provinces in the Philippines with confirmed cases of COVID-19. Most of the cases are overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and locally stranded individuals (LSIs).

Recently, ten (10) new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Negros Occidental. Based on a post on Aksyon Radyo Bacolod, the new coronavirus patients are OFWs and stranded individuals.

Aside from the ten (10) new cases in the province, two (2) new cases were recorded in Iloilo. Based on the report, there is now a total of 240 cases of coronavirus in region VI.

As of this writing, there are still no further information regarding the new COVID-19 cases. More updates may be posted soon.
