ALODIA GOSIENGFIAO – Gaming enthusiast Alodia Gosiengfiao shared an uplifting message to a new gamer.

Millions of Filipino teenagers are now addicted to playing online games. They spend tons of hours on their cellphones, tablets, or computers.

Taking a break from the pressure of the real world is one of the reasons why they love playing online games. Experts advised the public that this stress reliever should be taken in moderation.

Cosplayer and actress Alodia Gosiengfiao is one of the online gamers in the country. She gained a lot of fans because of her ‘astig’ hobby.

In a previous article, she showed off her all-in-one gaming chair that’s worth P1.3 million. She also shared a video of her dad playing the solitaire in her expensive gaming chair.

On Wednesday, June 17, Alodia Gosiengfiao shared a screengrab of her fan’s comment and her reply. She shared an uplifting message to the new gamer. He told the cosplayer that he’s not gaining support from his fellow gamers.

“Minsan nakaka-discourage lang din talaga lalo kapag walang sumusuporta sa’yo… Kakaumpisa ko lang ng live streaming. Share dito, share doon. Ako lang mag-isa nag-share ng lahat ng pinopost ko dahil wala naman ding ibang tutulong,” he wrote.

Alodia Gosiengfiao replied to his comment. In her response, she recounted her own experience while she was still starting in the online gaming world. She advised him to be patient and highlighted that the values of a person are more important than skills.

“When I started gaming, wala po sumusuporta. Sinira ng mom ko PC ko kasi masyado ako naglalaro. But I still found a way. Nabalance ko studies, gaming and other hobbies (art/cosplay/business). Graduated ADMU (Ateneo de Manila University) and still pursued my passions without expecting anything in return nor anyone to help me,” said Alodia.

Alodia Gosiengfiao reminded the new gamer to “trust the process” and not to feel discouraged. She said “don’t be discouraged, it took me 17 years from my first online game (RO 2003). Good luck po!”
