Netizens bashed DJ Loonyo for his remark
Internet sensation DJ Loonyo received a massive amount of bashing online due to his remark on COVID-19 mass testing.
Loonyo, or Rhemuel Lunio in real life, has gained popularity through his dance videos on TikTok. More people noticed him when he was featured in the boyfriend prank video of Kapamilya actress/vlogger Ivana Alawi.
Because of that, rumors linking them romantically surfaced. However, it was said that the dancer already has a girlfriend named Claire Gomez. Loonyo denied that there was a commitment between him and his rumored girlfriend. Claire, eventually, broke her silence after being bashed by the Loovana fans.
Just recently, DJ Loonyo became a trending topic once again on Twitter. It is because of his mass testing remark. In a video, which appeared to be from a social media live streaming, the internet sensation was asked what he knows about “mass testing”.
“I just don’t know. It’s like gagana ba ‘to ang bagay na ‘to sa ganiton ano.Di ko alam kung ano ang gagamitin nila sa mass testing, kung ano ipapainom nila, kung ano ipapagawa nila, it’s a trial and error. That’s why it’s mass testing,” he said.
He also that it will be pitiful for those who will take or undergo this. “It’s not 100 percent proven,” Loonyo added.
The internet sensation also said that mass testing should not be mandatory. For him, it depends on the person to take the mass testing or to believe this procedure.
