The manager of Fyang Smith debunked this allegation
Talent manager Mannix Carancho defended his talent, Fyang Smith, against allegations that she has a “bad attitude.”
To recall, Fyang became a trending topic on social media for the wrong reasons. Allegedly, she showed a bad attitude, and netizens did not like how she acted onstage at an event. They also criticized the young actress for how he acted during a motorcade.
During a Mannix Management press conference in Quezon City, based on the article in Bandera, Mannix directly addressed the issues being raised against the “Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11” Big Winner.
The talent manager dismissed the claims, stating that others simply misinterpret Fyang’s personality.
“Siguro dahil hindi niya pa close ’yung maraming tao, akala tinatarayan sila. Pero kapag nakilala niyo siya, wala kang masasabi sa pakikisama niya,” he said.
He added that his talent is far from having an “attitude problem.” Mannix stressed that Fyang Smith is very kind and easy to get along with, and that she has no insecurities.
He also said that the young actress just wants to enjoy herself. Mannix was also asked if Fyang had changed due to her newfound fame, but according to her manager, the exact opposite had happened.
He said that Fyang is just the same, and that she actually seems more grounded because she is more serious about her work now. For the talent manager, Fyang is just being misunderstood.
He also recounted how Fyang became part of their talent agency and asserted that some people simply have the wrong impression of the actress.
“Bumibisita sa Mannix House, nagko-content. Nagustuhan po namin siya at nagustuhan niya rin ‘yung environment po doon. Naging probationary muna kami for three to six months. Ngayon, three years ko na siyang mina-manage,” he said about Fyang Smith.
