PAGASA Says Northeasterly Surface Windflow Would Affect PH Weather

LATEST WEATHER UPDATE – The state weather update PAGASA reported that the northeasterly surface windflow would bring cloudy conditions with isolated rains over parts of the Philippines.

On Saturday (April 11, 2020), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. The northeasterly surface windflow would affect the country’s weather condition.

The northeasterly surface windflow would bring affect the weather condition over the extreme northern Luzon and the eastern section of the country.

PAGASA said that the easterlies would bring partly cloudy to cloudy weather conditions with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over provinces of Aurora, Abra, Benguet, Ifugao, Mt. Province, Kalinga, Apayao, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Cagayan and Batanes.

The same weather condition is also expected over Metro Manila, entire Visayas, Palawan, and Occidental Mindoro as well as the remaining parts of the country.

The weather agency also warned the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the northern Luzon would be moderate. The rest of the country is expected to experience a slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.
