SYLVIA SANCHEZ – Here’s an update on Sylvia Sanchez and her husband Art Atayde’s health after they tested positive for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Senator Migz Zubiri, Senator Aquilino Pimentel III, Senator Sonny Angara, Kapamilya actress Iza Calzado, and many other famous personalities have tested positive for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. And just recently, added to the list of the confirmed cases in the country is drama actress Sylvia Sanchez and her husband Art Atayde based on a previous report.
Accordingly, she suffered chills while her husband had cough and experiences shortness of breath. They are now under isolation and doing everything to recover and their son, actor Arjo Atayde, shared an update about their condition.
As per the actor, it was difficult for them as both of their parents have tested positive but all the support, well-wishes, and prayers for their family from many people uplifted their spirits. They are slowly recovering now.
He added, “Apart from that, it has enlightened us to know that no one that they have come in contact with before the quarantine and no one else here at home are showing symptoms.”
Meanwhile, on April 1 update from the Department of Health (DOH), 227 new confirmed cases of coronavirus or COVID-19 have been recorded in the Philippines. This brings us a total of 2,311 cases, 96 fatalities, and 50 recoveries. Several cities, provinces, and the entire of Luzon have already declared enhanced community quarantine in order to contain the spread of the deadly virus.
