Janine Gutierrez reacted to the recent issue about her mother
Kapamilya actress Janine Gutierre showed support for her mother, seasoned actress Lotlot Gutierrez amid the recent issue with her half-brother, actor Ian de Leon.
Janine is the eldest child of Lotlot with her estranged husband Monching Gutierrez. Following the death of National Artist and Superstar Nora Aunor, a conflict arouse between her children.
Previously, Ian stated that he is the sole heir to what their mother had left, but Lotlot stressed that she has no interest in this.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, just like many people who wanted the conflict between the De Leon siblings would be resolved, Janine Gutierrez also wished the same.
The Kapamilya actress expressed her support for her mom. “Siyempre, gusto ko lang po ibigay yung suporta ko sa mommy ko. Kasi, siya talaga yung inspirasyon ko bilang isang ate, isang panganay,” Janine said.
She also said that she would always remind her mother that she is just behind her. The Kapamilya actress just wanted the best for her mom.
“Whatever po is best for my mom, yun po lang talaga yung ipagpi-pray ko. Gusto ko lang naman na maging happy siya. Ayoko na magkasakit siya dahil sa stress or anything,” Janine stressed.
The actress also said that her mother is the number one in her prayer, and she is hopeful that everything would be okay.
Meanwhile, Janine Gutierrez now has a new series with her real-life boyfriend, A-list actor Jericho Rosales. It is a psychological thriller series The Loyalty Game, produced by ABS-CBN Studios and Star Creatives.
The series in which Jericho plays Ben, an enigmatic, respected lawyer and senatorial candidate, and Janine plays Anna, his devoted wife, premiered exclusively on Prime Video on July 3, 2026.
