Actress Sylvia Sanchez & Husband Art Atayde Test Positive for Coronavirus

SYLVIA SANCHEZ – The veretan actress and her husband, Art Atayde, tested positive for the 2019 novel coronavirus or COVID-19.

The coronavirus or COVID-19 is a pandemic now as declared by the World Health Organization (WHO). Its global impact is far beyond the expectation as it infected over 700,000 people worldwide.

Across the globe, it took over 33,000 lives now and has caused the locking down of several countries. Quarantines are implemented in most nations to prevent the spread of a very contagious disease.

The COVID-19 spares no one. It infected both the rich and the poor, the popular and the ordinary citizens. Although the senior citizens are the most susceptible to it, the young ones are not totally safe from getting infected.

In the Philippines, there are members of the entertainment industry and politics who tested positive for coronavirus. In showbiz, Christopher de Leon was the first to test positive for the disease. He has recovered and is home now.

Recently, another member of the Philippine show business tested positive for coronavirus. Based on a post on CinemaBravo, actress Sylvia Sanchez and her husband, Art Atayde, tested positive for COVID-19.

According to the veteran actress, it was on March 24 when she and her husband was brought to Cardinal Santos hospital. She was having chills while he is coughing and suffering from breathing difficulties.

The celebrity couple tested for coronavirus. Based on the post, they have isolated themselves since then and, a week later, they received the results that they are positive for the disease.

Sylvia and Art are recovering now although the pace is slower. She reminded everyone to boost their immunity and stay home.
