Lovi Poe Ask Followers For Donations Amid COVID-19 Crisis
LOVI POE – Kapuso actress Lovi Poe reached out to her followers to help raise money for the families and street children affected by the coronavirus crisis.
The 31-year-old celebrity shared that she finds ways to be productive during the ‘enhanced community quarantine‘. She recently decided to help the people affected by the lockdown.
Lovi Poe’s fellow Kapuso stars like Maine Mendoza and Alden Richard have offered a helping hand to the frontliners and daily wage earners. Mendoza has reached out to her fanbase to help the needy while Richards donated food to the frontliners.
Poor Pinoys are now struggling to provide food for their family. Good thing the celebrities are stepping up to help.
On Monday, March 30, Lovi Poe reached out to her fans and followers to help raise funds for the families and street children affected by the COVID-19 crisis. She uploaded a video on her Instagram account asking for donations amid the quarantine.
“Our street children need your help and compassion now more than ever. The COVID-19 pandemic has led to scary and uncertain times for many of us, but not more so than people with no homes who are most vulnerable,” she said.
The ‘Hindi Tayo Puwede’ actress reached out to her fans in support of Child Hope Philippines, an organization that focuses on the welfare of the street children. She also called for donations on her Twitter account. In the caption, she provided details on how to send their donations.
1000php can feed 1 family for 1 whole week!! Any amount would be a huge help because if we add everyone’s contribution it’ll keep our street children’s stomach full and happy despite what’s happening now. ❤️
