Class Suspension Declared In These Areas for Wednesday (March 11)

WALANG PASOK – Several local government units have declared class suspension in various areas due to the coronavirus disease 2019.

Over the past few months, the coronavirus disease or known as the novel coronavirus continues to spread in different countries all around the world. The disease has already infected thousands of people worldwide.

The health scare has already killed thousands of lives causing fear and panic in various nations across the globe. Many countries including the Philippines are already implementing precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the disease.

Class Suspension

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has declared the Philippines under a public health emergency due to the rapid spread of coronavirus in the country. As of Tuesday (March 10), the cases of coronavirus has jumped to 33. Different places have also suspended the classes as a precaution against the virus.

On Wednesday (March 11, 2020), several local government units have declared class cancellations in different areas due to the increasing cases of COVID-19. The suspension of classes has been made to ensure the safety of the students.

  •     Bulacan — All levels, public and private
  •     Cainta, Rizal — All levels, public and private
  •     Lingayen, Pangasinan — All levels, public and private
  •     Cavite — All levels, public and private
  •     National Capital Region  — All levels, public and private
