Here’s Reason Why Angel Locsin Didn’t Renew Contract W/ ABS-CBN
ANGEL LOCSIN – Filipina actress Angel Locsin revealed the reason why she didn’t renew her contract with the ABS-CBN network amid the tv network’s franchise renewal problem.
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte previously complained that the ABS-CBN network did not air his campaign advertisement during the 2016 elections. He also accused the tv network of bias reporting.
The franchise of the country’s leading broadcast network expires on March 30, 2020. Several celebrities have appealed to the chief executive to allow the media network to renew its franchise because thousands of people will lose their jobs.
On February 12, veteran singer Gary Valenciano joined his fellow stars in airing their support for the ABS-CBN network amid its franchise renewal issue. He wrote a lengthy post on his Instagram account expressing that the media network means for the Filipinos.
Now, ‘The General’s Daughter’ actress Angel Locsin took to social media to also show support for the tv network. She penned a lengthy caption on her Instagram post expressing her sympathy to the employees of the company.
Angel also shared several photos of herself with the cameramen, utility, art department, technical department, production, actors, directors, caterers, producers, lightmen, and crew of her latest tv series. The 34-year-old actress also revealed the reason why she didn’t renew her contract with the Kapamilya network.
“I may have not renewed my contract with ABS since I’m preparing for my wedding, but these men will always be my family and I will stand by them. Mahal ko sila at hindi po ito drama kundi kung sino po ang mas magdurusa sa sitwasyong ito,” she wrote.
It can be remembered that she said she wants to help her fiancé Neil Arce in preparing for their much-awaited wedding.
