Neil Arce shared something about spending money when it comes to producing films
Film producer Neil Arce, the fiance of The General’s Daughter actress Angel Locsin, talked about the money he is spending in the film industry.
Even before Angel and Neil got togehter as a couple, the latter has been producing Filipino films. It is known to many that he came from a wealthy family with various businesses.
Just recently, the couple got engaged and this brought excitement to their friends from showbiz, as well as their fans.
In line with the engagement news, some netizens got curious regarding the thoughts of Neil’s ex-girlfiend Bela Padilla. The actress said in previous reports that she will get engaged “in due time” and she is “happy” for Neil and Angel.
Amid the happy vibes because of the anticipated wedding, there were speculation against the film producer. A previous report cited the topic of showbiz reporters Cristy Fermin, Lolit Solis, and Mr. Fu in the recent episode of their digital talk show regarding the debt allegations against Neil Arce.
Allegedly, the film producer has “maraming utang” because of the unsuccessful result of the movies which he co-produced. It was also said in the show that fans of Angel are worried that she might be the one who will pay the alleged debt.
Meanwhile, a recent report from PEP showed how Neil peeceives his work as a producer.
He was asked why he wanted to be a producer and he answered, “Actually, bisyo na nga ito, e! Hindi, loko lang.”
In a serious tone, Neil said, “Alam mo, madami akong work, iba-iba. So, pero pag hindi ako gumagawa, parang may kulang sa akin. Parang hindi ako at peace, parang ganun yung feeling.”
Regarding the perceptions of other people that he is just wasting money, he said that he had movies which also earned, based on the report.
“So far, hindi naman, depende rin naman kasi,” Neil said.
