Joshua Garcia Got Into An Accident While Shooting ‘Block Z’
JOSHUA GARCIA – ABS-CBN actor Joshua Garcia revealed he got into an accident while filming ‘Block Z.’
Pinoy zombie film Block Z is directed by Mikhail Red starring Joshua Garcia, Julia Barretto, McCoy de Leon, Dimples Romana, Ian Veneracion, and Ina Raymundo among others. It is a story about a group of students who were trapped in a building due to a deadly virus outbreak.
The movie is set to be released this January 29. In a previous article, the prominent director explained why the film’s release was delayed.
Mikhail Red said ‘Block Z’ is worth the wait. He disclosed that they faced lots of challenges while making the Pinoy zombie movie.
Recently, Joshua Garcia revealed that he got into an accident while shooting. Based on a report from PUSH, the actor said he got carried away while doing some scenes in his latest project.
“Ako na-enjoy ko yung mga stunts kaso hindi naman ako palagi nakakapag-stunts eh. Lagi akong, ‘I love you’ (romance). So sobrang saya ko na nag-sa-stunts kami. Actually may ginawa ako dun na stunts na sa sobrang hirap kinailangan ko mag-double. Pero gustong gawin (sana),” he said.
According to the report, Joshua Garcia is among the students who fight with the zombies. He got into an accident during one of their chase scenes.
“Kasi pag tiningnan mo talaga sila nakakatakot, para kayong nagtataya-tayaan actually pag nag-te-taping kami. Kasi siyempre ang goal nila mahabol ka, kumbaga mataya ka nila. Matatakot ka itsura pa lang talaga nila. Nung paglingon ko hindi ko napansin yung locker, tumama yung shoulder ko sa locker. Pagka-bangga ko ng ganun hindi na ako nakapag-react dun sa pain, tatakbo lang talaga ako pababa. Mapapatakbo ka talaga pag ganyan ka nakakatakot yung zombie,” he said.
Based on the report, Joshua Garcia stated doing a horror movie is more challenging compared to rom-com. “Sobrang mahirap siya eh. Pero ang ganda. Siyempre hindi ko ma-de-deny yung bonding ng cast. Kasi parang pamilya talaga kami dun. Ang daming pakain ni Ms. Dimples (Romana) eh. Nagdadala ng masarap na food lagi si Ms. Dimples,” he added.
