BLOCK Z TEASER – The teaser trailer of the much-anticipated first-ever Zombie film of Star Cinema featuring JoshLia had finally been released online.
From the maker of the remarkable films Birdshot and Eerie, another spine-chilling film is yet to be given to us by the award-winning director Mikhail Red under the Star Cinema featuring Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto. Other casts that will join JoshLia are Ian Veneracion, Ina Raymundo, Maris Racal, Yves Flores, Dimples Romana, and McCoy De Leon.
“Hindi ito parang ‘Walking Dead’ na living corpse –dito mas infected sila, mas enraged so mas high-energy ito and mas fast-paced. Talagang full speed iyong habulan at takbuhan,” says the director about his film based on the previous article regarding this “game-changer” film.

The film, based on the teaser that they had released, is about a group of people who were trapped inside a quarantined school because of a mysterious infection that hit the country and became epidemic. Their mission is to survive and find their way out amid the infected-filled institution.
“I can’t really compare it to anything else locally. Nothing has been made like this. I also don’t want to compare it to Hollywood movies, kasi iba ‘to, kasi may Filipino elements,” the filmmaker also said.
