TRAILER – The first trailer of the Filipino remake of the hit South Korean movie ‘Miracle in Cell No. 7’ has been released and people are weeping.

Following a previous article, Kapamilya actress and writer Bela Padilla replaced Nadine Lustre as the lead role of the Pinoy remake of the hit South Korean film “Miracle in Cell No. 7.” Bella, Aga Muhlach and Xia Vigor are the lead cast of Viva Film’s entry for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

Meet Me in St. Gallen’ actress said she doesn’t mind being the second choice for the role. “Personally, hindi siya problema. Not at all. Basta ako I get paid and I do my job, I’m fine. ‘yun lang yon,” said Bela.

On October 14, Bela Padilla shared a photo of her with the actors of ‘Miracle in Cell No. 7.’ She was smiling while striking a pose with actors JC Santos, Joel Torre, Soliman Cruz, Jojit Lorenzo, and Mon Confiado.

Aga Muhlach plays the role of a mentally-ill man who’s wrongfully charged for murdering a girl. He gains friends in prison and together they form a plan to bring his daughter (Xia Vigor) inside their cell. After several years, his daughter (Bela Padilla) became a lawyer to just prove his father’s innocence.

On Tuesday, November 12, Viva Entertainment finally released the teaser of the Pinoy remake of the movie. The movie is directed by Nuel Naval and will be shown this coming December 25 in theaters nationwide.
