Coco Martin collaborated with Dingdong Dantes for this amazing cause for the entertainment industry
Kapamilya Primetime King Coco Martin and Kapuso “Primetime King” Dingdong Dantes have proven that there is no personal feud or issue between them.
Currently, their series are competing head-to-head during primetime. Dingdong is the lead star in the Kapuso series “The Master Cutter”, while Coco’s “Sigabo” is on ABS-CBN.
The two award-winning actors reunited for major collaborative projects under their group, AKTOR or the League of Filipino Actors, based on the article in Bandera.
Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera, the wife of Dingdong Dantes, was the one who first posted photos of her husband and Coco on Facebook with the caption: “Si Atoy at Si Gabo para sa AKTOR – League of Filipino Actors.”
The “Atoy” she is referring to is Dingdong’s character in “The Master Cutter,” while “Gabo” is the name of Coco’s character in “Sigabo.”
Following this, Dingdong also posted two photos of himself with Coco, as well as pictures featuring Marian, Ricci Chan, Iza Calzado, and Joel Saracho.
Iza is the current president of AKTOR, while Dingdong is the founding chairman.
“Magkaiba man ang programa, iisa lang ang layunin: pagmamahal at pagpapalakas ng ating industriya,” he said, adding that it was indeed a lovely Sunday meeting filled with stories and healthy discussions of ideas.
The meeting was intended as a preparation for the launch of AKTOR’s upcoming project.
“Para pag-usapan ang isa na namang proyektong ilulunsad ng AKTOR sa ilalim ng pamumuno ng ating kapwa AKTOR member na si Coco Martin. Soon. Para sa AKTOR. Para sa mga aktor. Para sa industriya,” Dingdong added.
Coco also shared a post about this on his social media page. “Sobra ang respeto ko sa taong ito. Maraming salamat, Kuya Dingdong Dantes, sa walang sawang pagmamahal at dedikasyon mo sa ating industriya,” the Kapamilya actor said.
Coco also said that Dingdong is an inspiration to many people because of his diligence and concern for other people, and not just talent, but heart filled with love for the industry.
“Nandito lang ako sa likod mo at buong puso ang suporta ko sa lahat ng iyong ginagawa lalo na para sa AKTOR , League of Filipino Actors,” Coco Martin said.
