Bela Padilla Speaks About Being 2nd Choice as Lead For ‘Miracle In Cell No. 7’ Film
BELA PADILLA – Kapamilya actress Bela Padilla spoke about being the 2nd choice as lead on ‘Miracle in Cell No. 7’ movie.
On July, Viva Films announced that they will be making a Filipino version of the famous South Korean movie “Miracle in Cell No. 7.” The movie the 5th highest-grossing film in Korea.
Actors Nadine Lustre and Aga Muhlach would play the main characters of the much-awaited movie. It is a story of a mentally ill man who was wrongfully imprisoned for murder. His inmates help him be with his daughter inside the prison.
Nadine Lustre decided to back out of the movie “Miracle in Cell No. 7.” She said she needed to take a rest after doing 2 films this year: Ulan and Indak.
Viva Films just announced that actress Bela Padilla will be replacing Nadine on the movie that is one the entry for the 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival.
During Bela’s interview on the talk show ‘Tonight With Boy Abunda’, she said she wanted to work with Nadine someday.
“I hope I get to work with her someday also…”
“And I am happy to take over for you in this project and I will do well, I will try,” she added.
Bela Padilla also said that she doesn’t mind being the being the second choice for the Filipino version of the film.
“Personally hindi siya problema. Not at all. Basta ako I get paid and I do my job, I’m fine. ‘Yun lang ‘yon. And this is such a big opportunity for me. I mean I don’t hide that I love Korean movies and Korean drama and Park Shin-ye is one of my favorite Korean actresses. So to recreate something that she did before and hopefully put a Filipino flavor to it is such a big thing for me, personally,” she said.
