DUTERTE – President Rodrigo Roa Duterte is on his way to Batasan Pambansa Complex for his State of the Nation Address (SONA) today, July 22, 2019.
Today, a huge part of the Filipino populace awaits the State of the Nation Address or SONA of the President. It will be held in Batasang Pambansa and is expected to gather a lot of people.
The former Davao City Mayor became President of the Republic of the Philippines in 2016. It was a landslide victory for the candidate who is tagged to be a representative of the masses.
Today, July 22, 2019, it will be the fourth time that Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte will deliver his State of the Nation Address (SONA). An update recently crossed the surface.
Based on a social media post of GMA News, Pres. Duterte is already on his way to Batasan Pambansa Complex for his 4th State of the Nation Address (SONA) today, July 22, 2019.
Based on a previous report on ABS-CBN News, two children of the President, Davao City Mayor Inday Sara and Vice Mayor Baste, are expected to not attend their father’s SONA today. The Mayor is on a medical leave.
For his part, the presidential son will be attending a session but assured that he will watch his father’s SONA on television.
