Latest Weather Updates in PH Released by PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA released the latest weather updates in the Philippines for Monday (May 20, 2019).

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported the current weather condition.

PAGASA said that the southwesterly surface wind flow would affect the weather over the western section of Luzon and Visayas.

The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Apayao, Abra, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Aurora, Metro Manila, and the remaining parts of the country.

The weather agency also warned the public of possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The coastal water conditions over the Northern Luzon and Aurora Province would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
