It’s Showtime Host Teddy Corpuz Performs Eat Bulaga Theme Song At UP Diliman Concert

IT’S SHOWTIME – Teddy Corpuz of It’s Showtime sang the Eat Bulaga theme song at the recent University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman Fair.

ABS-CBN’s noontime variety show It’s Showtime was premiered last October 2009. The show became the is longest running variety show after overtaking their previous program Magandang Tanghali Bayan (MTB).

The noontime show is hosted be several famous stars at the Kapamilya network namely Anne Curtis, Vice Ganda, Jhong Hilario, and Teddy Corpuz among others.

One of It’s Showtime’s main host, Vice Ganda, frequently mention their rival show on their program. In fact, Vice said Eat Bulaga is “Bongga” compared to the Kapamilya noontime show.

The comedian said it because the prices of the Kapuso show is bigger compared to It’s Showtime. The generous hosts of Eat Bulaga areJoey de Leon, Tito Sotto, and Vic Sotto.

Based on a report from PEP, one of the host of It’s Showtime, Teddy Corpus performed their rival show’s theme song at the University of the Philippines UP fair.

The lead vocalist of the Filipino band Rocksteady entertained the people at the Sunken Garden of UP, Diliman last February 16 at 1 a.m.

According to the report, in the middle of their set of songs, Rocksteady performed the theme song of the Kapamilya noontime show.

After that, he asked the crowd if there is any song that they wanted to request for them to play. The crowd suggested him to play the Eat Bulaga theme song. Teddy laughed at the suggestion of the concertgoers.

Based on the report, the It’s Showtime host eventually sang their rival show’s theme song.

“Lahat naman kami nanood kami ng Eat Bulaga. May Eat Bulaga na dati, di ba? Eat Bulaga rin ang pinapanood namin dati. Wala pa naman ang Showtime dati”

“Okay na kayo dun? Masaya na kayo dun?” Teddy added.
