Veteran broadcaster Korina Sanchez stressed that there is no political color in what she wears during her news program Agenda on Bilyonaryo News Channel.
Korina is one of the most respected broadcast journalists in the Philippines. She has received recognition and awards as a journalist. Over the years, she has done a lot of stints in the field of broadcasting and even had some hosting stints for her talk shows and magazine shows.
Currently, she is one of the news anchors of Agenda with Pinky Webb and Willard Cheng.
In a recent post on her Instagram page, Korina Sanchez addressed the comments that she received regarding the colors of her outfits, which garnered speculations about her political affiliation.
It is a fact that Korina is somehow connected to the world of politics since she is the wife of former DILG Secretary Mar Roxas, who ran for president in the 2016 elections, but was not victorious.
In Korina’s IG post, she showcased her photos with her fellow Agenda anchors. It can be seen in the photos that their outfits featured different colors.
“I was recently asked if I was for or allied with this or that politician —- because “we saw you wearing pink, or red, or yellow, or blue…,” she expressed, showing that she was aware of the comments.
Then, she stressed that it was just because of their color coding. “We are color coded in the newscast Agenda, assigned weekly. We are not pink or red or white or yellow or orange or blue or green… Simply, we are the Bilyonaryo News Channel,” the veteran broadcaster said.
