“Too much?!” A columnist stated about the “insulting remarks” of Vice Ganda to Anne Curtis
A columnist stated that the “insulting remarks” of Vice Ganda to his It’s Showtime co-host, Anne Curtis, are too much already.
Vice and Anne have been together in the Kapamilya noontime show for almost 9 years now.
They became friends even beyond their duties as host in the show. Definitely, they have developed a certain kind of sisterhood.
However, just like any other relationship, the friendship of Vice and Anne also went through a lot.
They even shared one instant that they had a big fight because of a watermelon shake.
Behind that, they were able to patch things up because of the foundation of the friendship.
It is also a fact that friends, just like them, also throw mean comments to each other sometimes even on air.
One example of this was when Vice Ganda insulted the outfit of Anne Curtis during an episode back in 2017.
Regardless of what happened, they continued to love each other as sisters.
On the other hand, entertainment columnist Veronica Samio wrote in her article on the site of Pilipino Star Ngayon that Vice‘s “insulting remarks” to Anne is too much.
She cited the production number of Anne with prominent OPM singers such as Dulce, Dessa, Klarisse de Guzman, Morisette Amon, Yeng Constantino, Sheena Belarmino, Frenchie Dy, Bituin Escalante.
According to her, there was nothing worth to be criticized to what the Buy Bust actress did.
Samio also said that Anne really did well with confidence and mastery of what she was supposed to do.
With this, the columnist stated that Vice Ganda should diminish the instances of his “pang-ookray” to Anne Curtis.
“Porke ba hindi ito umiimik at hinahayaan lang niya? Ang mga ganun kagandang pagkanta ay nakukuha lamang sa palaging pagsasanay at ‘yun si Anne na sa sobrang kagustuhan na maging magaling sa pagkanta ay hindi tumitigil sa kanyang pagpapakagaling at unti-unti nang naa-achieve ang kanyang mithiing makilala rin sa larangan ng pag-awit,” Samio said.
