This is the reason why Vice Ganda said ‘Eat Bulaga’ is “bongga” compared to ‘It’s Showtime’
Comedian-host Vice Ganda revealed why Eat Bulaga is “bongga” compared to It’s Showtime.
As everyone knows, the two shows are rivals on the noontime time slot from Mondays to Saturdays.
The shows from the Kapamilya and Kapuso network are both variety shows that incorporated laughter to their segments.
Both also have various contest which features different age brackets.
Why bongga?
On the other hand, there is one thing different from Eat Bulaga when compared to It’s Showtime, as what Vice Ganda stated.
During the recent episode of the Kapamilya noontime show, Vice said that when it comes to the aspect of giving prizes to the contestants, Eat Bulaga is bigger.
“Ang bongga dun noh, mas malaki ang premyo dun kesa dito,” the comedian-host said referring to the EB’s segment Juan For All, All For Juan.
Then Vhong Navarro said that they already knew that fact.
“Totoo yun, mas malaki ang bigayan dun,” Vice Ganda added.
On the other hand, he also stated the good thing about It’s Showtime.
“Pero masaya din naman kasi dito, kaya may mga loyal viewers din tayo,” he said.
He also said an apology with jest that they are sorry they can’t provide bigger prizes but they assure the happiness they can provide.
Then, one member of the audience shouted, “I love you, Vice” which received an “I love you too” from the host.
Another joke
However, he joked again.
“Ngayon a-i love you, echusera ka pero nung kaputukan ng AlDub hindi ka nanonood dito,” Vice Ganda said.
He was referring to the phenomenal tandem of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza as Yaya Dub.
After that, Vhong mentioned about Pastillas Girl who was brought out following AlDub.
“Kawawa tuloy si Pastillas, napanis si Pastillas,” Vice answered.
