Neri Miranda Returns to Baguio After Two Years of Silent Struggle
NERI MIRANDA – After two long years of staying away, Neri Miranda finally found the courage to return to Baguio and confront the painful memories she once tried to escape.
Two years after stepping away from a place she once loved, Neri Miranda has finally returned to her family’s home in Baguio City, accompanied by her husband and children. The former actress and now entrepreneur revealed that it took them a long time to come back because of a deep trauma she experienced in the past.
On Instagram, Neri shared a video of herself harvesting rosemary, lavender, and sage from their garden. In the caption, she opened up about her emotional journey.

Although she did not disclose specific details about the trauma, it appeared to be connected to her arrest and detention in November 2024. She had faced 14 counts of security regulations violations and syndicated estafa, but the court eventually dismissed all the charges filed against her.
Some beautiful. Some painful.
“Minsan ganun pala ‘no?

She also expressed heartfelt gratitude to her husband, Chito Miranda, for being supportive of her well-being.
“Rosemary is for remembrance. Sage is for cleansing. And lavender is for calmness.
“Parang coincidence di ba? Parang may bulong si Lord through my garden: ‘You survived. You’re growing. You’re safe.’
“Kahit may trauma. Kahit may anxiety. Life still grows.
I am surrounded with people who love me… and protect me.
“I am surrounded with my plants sa aking garden…And instead of avoiding the pain forever, I chose to face it slowly..
“And that’s enough.”
