Aquino Siblings Commemorate and Visit their Parents’ Tomb On All Souls Day
AQUINO SIBLINGS – The Aquino siblings visited their parents’ tomb on the All Souls Day on November 2.
The five Aquino children are former President Benigno”Noynoy” Aquino III, Ballsy, Pinky, Viel, and the Queen of All Media, Kris Aquino.
Their father, Benigno Simeon “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., was the chief opposition leader during the era of martial law in the Philippines.
Their late mother, Maria Corazon “Cory” Cojuangco Aquino, was also a former President of the Philippines and the first ever woman to hold that office.
The parents of the Aquino siblings have already passed away. On this All Souls Day, they showed respect and went to their grave.
The All Souls Day is the day for the commemoration of all the Christian souls who have departed. The relatives of the deceased offer prayers for the dead to assist those who are in the purgatory.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN News, the Aquino siblings visited the tombs of their parents, former Sen. Ninoy and former President Cory Aquino.
According to the report, the Presidential Communications Operations Office Secretary, Herminio Coloma, stated that the Aquino siblings usually went to Memorial Park either on Oct 31 or Nov. 2.
The cemeteries and memorial parks are expected to be crowded on November 1 because many Christian Filipinos visit the graves of their loved ones.
“On Nov 1, masyadong maraming tao, less likely for them to have quiet time while honoring parents,” Coloma said.
Based on the report, the Aquino siblings gave a chance to the public to visit the tomb of their parents former Sen. Noynoy and former President Corazon Aquino on November 1.
Former Pres. Aquino spent the All Souls Day visiting their parents privately and quietly together with his sisters Ballsy, Pinky, and Viel.
“Gusto namin ng oras para makapagdasal ng maayos, magunita ang aming mga magulang.” Noynoy said.
